You will have to research six lessons about grammar before entering your 10th grade year. You will use the Purdue online writing lab at http://owl.english.purdue.edu/ to learn or borrow a grammar book from your local library! You will have to:
- check this blog every other week for the grammar topic (the 7th and 21st)
- research the topic on http://owl.english.purdue.edu/
- take notes on each topic in your spiral notebook
- post the written assignment on this blog before the next topic is assigned
You must use proper, standard English (no IM/text speak) and must post original work, not repeated or copied work.
Your first topic will be on NOUNS and VERBS.
Check back in on July 7th for the assignment on NOUNS and VERBS.

ReplyDeleteThis assignment seems a bit vague. I just want to confirm if I've got the right idea. Using the website provided, I have to preform research on "nouns and verbs." After doing the research, I post the notes I took on this blog and in the spiral notebook. Is that correct?
